North Dakota National Guard Presents Legislative Review at October Military Affairs |
The October meeting of the Devils Lake Chamber Military Affairs Committee was a significant event, marked by a comprehensive legislative review. Key figures, including Deputy Adjutant General Jackie Huber, Lieutenant Colonel Jay Sheldon, North Dakota Senator Judy Estenson, and North Dakota State Representative Kathy Frelich, joined local emergency services and community members to discuss critical issues.
The presentation highlighted the unwavering readiness of the National Guard to respond to emergencies at any time. Attendees gained valuable insights into the upcoming biennium's priorities and the crucial role of state radio emergency services, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the military, local government, and community members.

Devils Lake Tourism Trick-or-Treats at Governor's Residence |

Devils Lake Tourism recently had the opportunity to participate in a unique trick-or-treating event at the Governorβs Residence in Bismarck. The event brought together various tourism organizations from across North Dakota to offer treats and promotional materials to inspire young visitors to explore the diverse attractions and experiences our state has to offer.
Other participating organizations included Visit Minot, Badlands Express Stagecoach, State Historic Society of North Dakota, Dacotah Speedway, Mandan Progress Organization, Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation, Jamestown Tourism, Dickinson CVB, North Dakota Parks and Recreation, and the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.

Insurance Insights at November Brew'n Business |

On November 4th, the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted an insurance panel for Brew'n Business. The event, held at NDTC, featured an informative discussion with Nichole Bertsch from Globe Life Family Heritage and Dan Ness from Farmer's Insurance. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about various insurance options and ask questions to industry experts.

Military Family Appreciation Night at Dockside |
The Devils Lake community recently honored our military families with a special appreciation night on November 6th. Held at Dockside Entertainment, the event featured free bowling, arcade games, delicious food, and more for service members and their families.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our military families for their sacrifices and service. This event was a small token of our appreciation.

Holiday Cheer & Festive Finds: A Successful Holiday Showcase |

The Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted a successful Holiday Showcase on November 12th. Roughly 500 attendees enjoyed a festive evening filled with holiday cheer. Local businesses showcased their products and services, offering exclusive samples and giveaways throughout the night. The event was a great opportunity for attendees to support local businesses and get a head start on their holiday shopping.
