Tell us about K&M Bison Lodge!
We have a Motel and Hunting/ Fishing lodge in New Rockford ND, We also are a Devils Lake Fishing Guide Service. We love to give the great experience of Devils Lake Fishing Summer or Ice Fishing as we as what are wonderful area has to offer visitors from all over the countries.

What is your favorite thing about being a Devils Lake business?
We love all the neat new guest experiences we have with meeting new people from all over the world, especially when it is their first time Ice Fishing or being in the cold and snow. It is so much fun being a part of moments like that.

What is something someone may not know about your business?
A fact that people might not know is Matt and I had just been engaged to be married when we decided to save the oldest hotel in New Rockford from being knocked down by purchasing it. Not sure how we were going to make the money to remodel this old motel... we decided to start taking people fishing from out of state. We have hunting lodges and a game cleaning shack on site, a 12 room motel and a year round Fishing Guide Service on Devils Lake with local guides that have been fishing Devils Lake most of their lives.

Despite the frigid temperatures, the inaugural Hometown Holiday Celebration was a success! The city of Devils Lake was abuzz with holiday cheer as friends and families gathered to enjoy a variety of festive activities around town.

From the moment the event kicked off, there was sense of excitement in the air. Many started their day with a delicious pancake breakfast at the KC Hall, followed by exploring the vendor show and taking advantage of the great Mug Walk deals. The afternoon was equally exciting with Santa Storytime, music from the live carolers, a homemade ornament class, and festive displays. In the evening, families flocked to Bridgestone Park to visit with Santa, roast marshmallows, and sip hot cocoa. The stunning Christmas tree lighting ceremony and fireworks display served as the perfect end to a magical day.
