FEBRUARY 2025 - PART 2
Tell us something unique about your Devils Lake Park District!
We are an agency that strives to offer activities, events, open space, and other amenities for all ages, stages, and abilities for Devils Lake and the Lake Region.
How has the Park District changed in the past year?
We had the most changes for the Devils Lake Park District in many years. We opened Dockside Entertainment, Roosevelt Activity Building, opened the updated Baseball Park, moved our Park District offices to Dockside Entertainment, Fishing Pier at the Ruger Park Fishing pond, and started renovations at the Bill Jerome Arena.

The latest Chamber of Commerce Brew'n Business event focused on Business Safety and Security. We were joined by Chief Toso, Captain Harkness, and Detective Sergeant Rodriguez of the Devils Lake Police Department as well as State's Attorney Daniel Howell. Our panelists shared valuable insights on safety and security concerns businesses face, highlighting the importance of prioritizing safety and security in all aspects of operations. Attendees gained valuable information on physical security measures, employee safety, cybersecurity threats, and emergency preparedness.
Our next Brew'n Business event will be held March 11th at Devils Lake High School where we dive in to youth engagement and hear from local students!

Bully Brew Coffee
The Chamber of Commerce recently hosted ribbon-cutting ceremonies for WaterMark Art Gallery & Gifts and Bully Brew Coffee, offering residents exciting new options!
On February 7th, the community celebrated the grand opening of WaterMark Art Gallery & Gifts with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Owners Dr. Mark Hale and his wife, Lisa, along with a talented collective of local artists, are thrilled to bring this unique space to Devils Lake. WaterMark offers a diverse range of art, including stunning paintings, handcrafted jewelry, intricate crochet works, modern metal prints, and even beautifully crafted furniture.
Just a week later, on February 13th, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as Bully Brew Coffee celebrated with their ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Bully Brew team is excited to officially be part of the Devils Lake community and is thankful for the warm welcome they've received over the past few months. They've already built a loyal following of locals who appreciate their delicious coffee, friendly atmosphere, and tasty lunch specials.
