APRIL 2025 - PART 1

Inaugural Summer Job Fair a Success!

Devils Lake's recent Summer Job Fair was a fantastic hit, connecting local businesses with students looking for summer employment opportunities! The event buzzed with energy as representatives from a wide range of industries met with motivated young individuals looking to contribute to our community.

Feedback from both participating businesses and students has been overwhelmingly positive. Businesses appreciated the opportunity to connect directly with potential summer staff. Students, in turn, shared their excitement about the range of opportunities available and the connections they made.

We're thankful to have had the opportunity to facilitate these important connections and look forward to seeing the positive impact these summer jobs will have on both our businesses and our students.

"It was good to talk to those kids, even when they already had summer jobs lined up. Need more candy for next year"

- Ironhide Equipment

"I was stunned by the number of inquiries I received yesterday about CNA."

- TrainND

"That was the best Job Fair I've attended in all of the job fairs I've been to since I started"

- Devils Lake Cars

Business Members Connect & Celebrate with Business After Hours!

We're thankful that Total Skin Dermatology & Aesthetics hosted a Business After Hours with us March 27th! Networking is a valuable part of your Chamber membership, providing opportunities to network, showcase your business, and strengthen your ties with the local business scene.

While at the event, Total Skin offered attendees discount scratch-offs and the Chamber held a drawing for a $50 Gift Certificate. It was a pleasure to get to know their team and network with others from the Devils Lake business community in their comfortable space and learn more about their services.
