MAY 2025 - PART 3

Cheers to a Successful Beer Crawl!

On May 9, downtown Devils Lake buzzed with activity as beer lovers and community members came together for the annual Downtown Beer Crawl. The weather couldn’t have been better for an evening stroll through local businesses, each offering samples of new and favorite brews from our local distributors.

With 17 participating stops, attendees enjoyed a relaxed and social night out, visiting storefronts, catching up with friends, and collecting custom Devils Lake bottle openers at the end of the night. Congratulations to our grand prize winner Deanna Amen and our other prize winners Bill DeWall, Michelle Rau, Meggan Crosby, and Abbie Larson!

Thank you to the participating businesses, distributors, and attendees who made this year’s Beer Crawl a refreshing kickoff to the summer season.

Volunteers Needed: Children's Mobility Awareness Festival Being Held June 8

On Sunday, June 8, the Children’s Mobility Awareness Festival, will be taking place at Lakewood Park. The event is focused on inclusivity and mobility awareness. The festival will coincide with a very special moment with Lakewood Park’s new wheelchair-accessible boat lift. This innovative installation will ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to experience the joy of fishing in our beautiful lake.

To make this event a success, we need volunteers! Whether it’s helping with set-up, assisting families during activities, or simply offering a welcoming smile, your time and energy will help create a fun experience for all.
