JUNE 2025 - PART 1

Devils Run 2025: A Smoky Weekend Full of Smiles, Classic Chrome & Mustangs

What a weekend! Despite hazy skies and smoky conditions, this year’s Devils Run was once again a roaring success! Thank you to the visitors, car enthusiasts, and volunteers who showed up to make it one to remember.

From the rumble of engines to the cheer of parade-goers lining the streets, Devils Lake was alive with energy, nostalgia, and good vibes all weekend long. Classic cars, vintage cruisers, hot rods, motorcycles, and custom builds rolled through downtown, reminding us why Devils Run is one of the most anticipated events of the year.

The parade was a true highlight, and we’re grateful to everyone who participated - from drivers proudly showing off their rides to families who braved the smoke to wave, cheer, and celebrate. Even with the air quality challenges, spirits stayed high and smiles were everywhere.

We saw familiar faces, met new visitors, and welcomed folks from across the region (and beyond) who came together for a shared love of cars, community, and tradition. Mark your calendars for May 29 - 31, 2026.

Children’s Mobility Awareness Festival & Wheelchairs and Walleyes Dedication

Despite the chilly temps and a few sprinkles, the Children’s Mobility Awareness Festival and Wheelchairs and Walleyes Dedication Ceremony June 8th were a heartwarming success!

The dedication of the Wheelchairs and Walleyes initiative marked an exciting milestone for expanding lake access and inclusion across the Devils Lake region. It was a day of connection, celebration, and meaningful progress toward a more accessible outdoor experience for everyone.

Families enjoyed a full day of inclusive fun with games like ring toss, tic-tac-toe, and more. Attendees also enjoyed nachos, slushies, face painting, and a delicious lunch.

Want to learn more about the project and what it means for our community? Read our blog post here. Updated information will be coming out soon and signage for use will be added to the system in the next week!
